My Academic Interests
My main interests are in ethics, political philosophy, philosophy of law and public policy, and the philosophy of information and technology. I am especially interested in utilitarian theory, distributive justice, and ethical issues in the use of the internet, particularly as they effect concrete political and policy issues.
During my tenure as a member of the Philosophy Department at Gonzaga University, I developed courses in Ethics and the Internet, Political Philosophy, Ethics, Economics, and Public Policy, and Philosophy of Law. I also taught core courses in Ethics and Critical Thinking.
